Worth clarifying, maybe? Routemasters only continue on selected "tourist" routes, due to the legal requirement to have accessible buses under the Disability Discrimination Act. However, most London buses are still double deckers, so, happily, the nostalgic red bus stuck under a bridge scenario has not been lost. By the way, there are considerably more bus routes and bus services in London now than there were before the Mayor and GLA were created.
