The worst acting in the whole episode, to me, was marthas rather poor delivery of the 'And Im bringing you back to earth' line

F**king hell, I'd forgotten about that. Thanks! :(

I don't really watch Dr. Who much - not being 12 and all - but why do alot of people dislike Martha? I think shes quite pretty, which is how I judge all women, obviously. Certainly better than Tate, who is ugly and cannot act.

Ha!!
I like an honest man.

Only Aaron dislikes Martha, and we can only speculate why.

As for Tate, her acting skills are genuine emperor's new clothes stuff. Some critics reckon she can act. That's baloney. I'm a better actress, and I'm not even the right gender.

It's jest, but like all good jest has some truth in it. In this case 100%.

She's not a terrible actor.
I just don't think she's right for this series of Doctor Who, with this Doctor.

But there we are. She's in it now and she's not going to disappear because some of us want her to.

Reading too much complaining ruins the show for me, cos then I start watching it thinking everyone's going to hate that bit. And then I stop enjoying it as much.

Gurning/dignity gravitas

Surely there is a middle ground.

And I want intelligent stories. The sonic screwdriver was banned for a while because it was basically a magic wand that got the Doctor out of every impossible situation.. which is what it is being used for again. Lazy and dull.

There were plenty of intelligent stories last series. But the first few episodes there were a bit silly too. Just have patience!

Come on Zoo, the Doctor has patients because that is his job.

I don't have time for patience.

Oh you are a one.

;)

I quite liked Tristam the vet somehow.

He was the second best Doctor ever!

You just like the cute ones Zooo

Well. That is a factor!

But I do have some discerning capabilities.

How do they work?
