What are you eating? Page 673

Shop's own spam type stuff cooked to give a crispy outside.

Feta cheese stuffed olives. They're the dogs bollocks with a glass of the old 'Chardonnay'.

Lofty would be eating pizza but for one thing . .

Just finished off spaghetti carbonara. It truly is my signature dish.

I'm currently eating Sainsbury's Taste The Difference Bramley Apple Pork Sausages and I'm a little confused and disappointed as sausages used to be my favourite thing! Is out just me or are these and similar ones rather chewy and gluteny (something I related to vegetarian sausages made from gluten). I've had the classic chip shop sausage, I love the crunch and the burst and what I missed most whilst veggie but these supermarket premium ones are weird.

Is it just me??

What's the % pork content?

I had a phase of going very high, over 90%, and eventually found I couldn't take them they were such solid meat. Best around mid 70s I think now.

"Made with 76% outdoor bred pork"

I'd stay away from the 97%ers then !

I wish I was man enough for that!

I just had way too much mustard in a sandwich. I was too ambitious.

Awwh, I hate it when I get the balance wrong.

Well, personally, I love the supermarket premium brand ones - Tesco's and Sainsbury's. I don't think they're any more chewy than ones you'd get at the butchers.

I put too much mustard in some mash potato the other week. Was rather unpleasant.

If you like chewy sausages, try vegetarian ones, f**k me, it's like gnawring on a dog toy. I personally prefer tender meat.

I put loads of mayo in to try and balance things out.
It was a very liquidy sandwich...

Sounds lovely.

It was nice. It just blew the inside of my head out.
