Jennie, no problem. Do check though because I think they have odd hours. It might be more of a daytime thing. I've always been at lunchtime.
Do you know Bradleys Bar? That's a weird place. Tiny and central. It is supposed to be Spanish and they used to have old Latin American records from the 1960s on a jukebox. The staff, though, tend to be Thai and there is also a bit of Irish in it too. Occasionally you get someone walking in with a guitar impromptu.
Best in the daytime or for a quick evening meet before going somewhere else, ie concerts. It can get packed later but it is a good alternative to all the usual plastic places. Worth doing at least once. I think the negative aspects in the review are very overstated. It isn't seedy - or, from memory, smelly - just unique.
