What condiments will you be having with them? This requires more thought than some might realise.
What are you eating? Page 584
Salt, vinegar and ketchup.
The classic trio.

The condiments alone sound tempting to me at the moment

I've been livening up the holy trinity with a bit of barbecue sauce of late.
Ooh, I do like a bit of BBQ sauce.
*edit*
Oh bugger, I've done it again.
Robh - the vanilla of BCG.
Quote: zooo @ September 20 2012, 10:08 PM BSTI'm having chips from the chip shop tomorrow for the first time in weeks. I AM VERY EXCITED.
And so you should be. I only have chip shop chips about twice a year because Mr. K looks down his nose at them.
Silly old Mr. K!
You shall have to arrange secret chip shop visits.
Don't do my survey then, seef I care . . . .
BTW, battered chip shop chips are ace !

How do you cook your chips at home?
Oil?
Dripping?
Timings?
Crinkle or straight?
etc etc
Ah. Straight cut, or curly fries, on a tray in the oven. (Don't hate me.)
Did use a frying thingy in oil for a while, and they were delicious, but a) boiling oil is scary, b) it smelled the flat out, and c) they were presumably ten times more fattening.

Furry?
Fat and womble-shaped.
Ah, cuddly!
