In Roseanne they were always going on about 'loose meat sandwiches' which confused me for years. It seems to just be mince in a burger bun? Just... makes NO sense in English whatsoever!

That's some weird thing that's confined to one tiny part of the country. Our chorizo has nothing to do with it, I was just explaining that our chorizo isn't usually packed into casings.

Double Decker...

That takes me back

Didn't know they still made em'

No, I know, just the term loose meat reminded me.

Loose meat also sounds like how a girl asks a fella for a shag

Laughing out loud

The neighbor lady just dropped off a plate of chorizo & egg breakfast tacos. :$

What a f**king life you have, D-man.

*D-man is better than Butt-man.

I may have to go and eat a beetroot. Whole. Like an apple.

Then again, maybe not.

I like baby beetroot. You can just shovel em in like popcorn, very bitter popcorn...

Having watched Chicken Run on Friday with one of the kids I have had a hankering for chicken pie all weekend. Popped out today to buy a small one for my dinner, yum yum. Not sure that's the reaction most people get after watching that film...

Humble Pie, it's shit but, you know, it doesn't cost that much.

Eating leftover rice I made earlier, cold but tasty (tomatoes, onion, garlic, coriander). Am I likely to get food poisoning?

the bacteria in rice that gives you food poisoning develops if you leave it unchilled for quite a while after cooking it, despite what people think, reheating rice to high temperatures doesn't kill the bacteria (unless you cremate it). So as long as you didn't leave it out in the sun all day you should be ok.

Doesn't it also create a toxic?

But generally, eating left over rice is ok. Just look at rice salad or rice pudding Pleased
