What are you eating? Page 577

Oh and Chorizo
And not because it's popular at the moment on here.
But becauseI actually was, honest.

Yum.

Why haven't I got any? :(

Please would you try the Portuguese ones next time you buy some? They're usually tastier (not biased in the slightest), smokier and spicier.

It's spelt chouriço but it's pretty much pronounced the same way. Usually comes as a thick sausage, rather than in prepacked slices.

Shall do!

I can't say it tastes like one too, never having tried one. Ask the others, maybe they'll know.

My general rule is not to put anything in my mouth that looks like a willy

I don't have that rule.

Seriously, chorizo is DELICIOUS. It's always sliced up anyway.

Our chorizo is the Mexican variety and an entirely different thing. It's usually sold as loose meat and is used in breakfast tacos and the like.

In Roseanne they were always going on about 'loose meat sandwiches' which confused me for years. It seems to just be mince in a burger bun? Just... makes NO sense in English whatsoever!

Is it like salami? Or pepperoni?

Cos usually stuff like that is v.unhealthy

Loose meat sound like aword for a slag

Unimpressed Asda egg/salad sarnie- not nice wet lettuce! cheered up with a Double Decker
