What are you eating? Page 549

Ha! Did you buy them off a bloke in the street? I find them suspicious.

I don't know if anyone's ever seen a programme called Man vs Food, but I'm now double dipping sandwiches and I want it to stop.

I love that show. American food is fascinating and awesome. There's usually at least one thing each episode I want to try. But in much much smaller amounts.

In the context of Man vs Food, much much smaller amounts = just enough to feed a family of four.

Ha, true!

I probably shouldn't comment in this thread because my stomach is distended by about 2 pounds of prime rib.

Asda's own brand equivalent of Twix.

Very good and half the price.

Unfortunately, for me, this doesn't result in savings only eating twice as many !

Sick

Ragu Bianco.

Very fancy. Was less fancy when I had a crunch corner for dessert.

Home made chicken soup, actually worth the 3 hours it took.

But then I do have a cold.

;) Does the chicken soup thing really work? or is it a Jewish myth?

There is some scientific research into it working.

Or it may just be a good way of getting some protein and warmth when you're not feeling well.

Bugger all as I'm suffering from the Black Death.

I've started on the Cadbury's Heroes. The tiny Cream Egg ones are far less sickening than the actual normal egg-sized one. Liking the Fudges too.

I just had some Roses. The tin smelled lovely.

I wish I'd got some Roses too. I've just got Heroes and another tin of Quality Street. Still, I'll muddle on.

I have been working on one of my giant peanut butter cups for two days now and I am only half way.

:) I like 'heroes' and 'roses' don't like fudge, have to wait to see what Santa brings! Him indoors wants to cook turkey tomm' I want it fresh, any ideas or preferences folk?...
