What are you eating? Page 416
I hate fish and all seafood, but tonight my neighbors invited me over for dinner and the main course was fish tacos. Fresh fish -- battered and fried -- in corn tortillas with some hot sauce, shredded cabbage(?) and lemon juice. They were fantastic and I didn't detect even the slightest hint of fishy flavor. I've always been wary of fish tacos, but these were yummy.
Lucky you! I had fish tacos for dinner last week and they were disgusting.
These tacos were fantastic. I was afraid that I'd have to feign approval to maintain my "they drink beer on the sidewalk with me" status, but I genuinely liked them.
Currently looking at flights to Europe in May. I think I may try to do Italy/France/Switzerland in conjunction with friends' bands' tours.

Toast. Can almost eat two slices now.
Prawn fricasse which I cooked and pancakes which my 15 year old daughter cooked. Yes a practical use for a teen.
About to have red pepper and balsamic vinegar tortellini with a tomato and smoked bacon sauce topped with finely grated Parmesan.
Thanks Asda.
I have to put it together tho' !
Just cooked up some fresh spinach and pork chops stuffed with Fontina and prosciutto. The chops weren't as good as I'd expected.
Banana cake with homemade icing. Came from a cookbook with recipes from the Great Depression.
I'm cooking lamb ragu cavatelli tonight!

You won't like soap bread then...
Oh MAN. Tiger bread is genius. I am going to get hold of some as soon as possible now I have been reminded of its existence.
