I must have told this story before, as I have every other story on here; but when I was very little I stuck my head into the front of one of those big, open, shop fridges of packaged raw chickens to have a look. I then asked my mum, very loudly whether "these really used to have heads and legs and stuff?", horrifying many shoppers. People know where meat comes from, but they'd rather not have to think about it.
