What are you eating? Page 18

I like Burritos and finally you can get decent ones in London.

It's about time. I made the mistake of trying a burrito there about 4 years ago and it was a most unpleasant experience. It was wholly unlike any burrito I'd ever seen.

I'm grateful that I live in a place where world-class Mexican food and BBQ can be found on almost every corner.

We have Indian shops.

There's an Indian place 2 or 3 blocks from my office that does a nice all-you-can eat lunch buffet for 7 or 8 bucks. Yummy!

Similar in UK.

But these places are Russian Roulette with one's colon.

n.b. when you post in this thead it reads,

"eating, Da Butt,"

Bet we come up as a cannibal site on Google.

My colon's has emerged unscathed so far, but I nearly broke a tooth on a piece of goat bone the first time I ate there. I've learned my lesson and now proceed more carefully.

You have an all you can eat buffet that does curried goat?

For the first time in years I feel the pain of real jealousy.

Curried goat and all manner of food I can neither pronounce nor identify.

I wish the Turkish place would do an all-you-can-eat buffet. I'd weigh 300 pounds in no time.

Aah you live in a fine neighbourhood.

I ate testicles for the first time at one (cheap joke opportunity)

In my local neck of the woods, there are many fine Ethiopian restaurants.

Love that flat bread and the injerra.

No Ethiopian restaurants here that I'm aware of, but there are several military bases nearby and that means plenty of good Korean food. The nearby Chinese buffet is actually quite good, too.

Bimibab.

Bimibab.

I'm not very adventurous when it comes to Korean food (mainly because I hate seafood) but I can wolf down a plate of bulgogi or jabche in no time.

Why do military bases equate to Korean nosh?

You obviously think Haille of them.

Careful you don't make a hilarious Corren style mishap there Aaron!

Lots of soldiers serve on 51st parralel in Korea I guess, plus Korean soldiers in US army.

Why do military bases equate to Koreans going for a nosh?

Now you know how it feels to be Giles Coren.
