Your Comedy Writing

Which category would your comedy come under? Or is it a mix?

1: Articulate: Yes (Prime) Minister, Frasier
2: Regional: Phoenix Nights, Early Doors
3: Gang: Cheers, Friends, Seinfeld
4: Common: Two Pints Of Lager, Gavin & Stacey
5: Old Style: Only Fools And Horses, Porridge
6: Alternative: The Office, Peep Show

Number 3 for one of my comedy ideas, number 2 for another and number 6 for the third.

Nice idea David. I'd say 5 and 3 for me with a sprinkle of 6.

My own comes under the special number seven.

Unfunny: Nathan Barley, Roman's Empire, Two Pints..

I suppose numbers 4 & 6.
I have to maintain being common. Its an art you know!

I'm a 6 addict.

2: Regional: Phoenix Nights, Early Doors

Laughing out loud Regional? Is that another word for Northen? Its cold tup regional :D

I would say mine was Articulate and Common

Might I add 'absurd' - Reeves and Mortimer, Mighty Boosh?

Just to be awkward (sp?), why does it have to come under anything? :P

Ah, awkward comedy eh?

Hmm, I suppose take out 2 and 4 and mine is a mixture of the rest. There's more comedy styles than that though, surreal and satire to name but two.

I guess my style is mainly 5. Good old fashioned, on front of an audience, comedy! :)

1 and 6 I suppose.

Or at least I like to think so.

Which means it's probably not.

Zooo I was just thinking the same thing!

That doesn't bring you down to my level btw!
