Right! Thought I'd join in! Here are my thoughts. Just wanna say as well, I liked Gavin and Stacey but I am surprised it has been nominated for so many awards. Also The Best New Comedy Entertainment Programme category is very weak, in my opinion.

Best new British TV comedy (scripted); Not Going Out

Best comedy entertainment programme: Harry Hill’s TV Burp

Best new comedy entertainment programme: Al Murray’s Happy Hour (at a push!)

Best TV comedy actor: Lee Mack (Not Going Out)

Best TV comedy actress: Liz Smith (The Royle Family: The Queen Of Sheba)

Best comedy entertainment personality: Alan Carr & Justin Lee Collins (Friday Night Project)

Best live stand-up: Alan Carr

Best male comedy newcomer: James Corden (Gavin & Stacey)

Best female comedy newcomer: Ruth Jones (Gavin & Stacey)

Best international comedy show: The Simpsons

Best comedy film: Borat

Well five of these matched the actual result!
