Light hearted diamond smuggling film based on the contemporary Daily Mirror cartoon strip of "Jane", the blonde bombshell with her dachshund Fritz, in which she invariably finished up losing some clothing (losing her skirt at the beginning and end of the film) and at the time and during the war kept the troops happy.
BUT this film was absolutely dire!! Christabel Leighton-Porter who played the lead was just that, a dumb blonde and it is little wonder this was the only film she ever made.
The only bit of humour as such came from a 34-year-old Peter Butterworth playing a drunk hotel guest.
1/10 But I don't mind suffering in the name of comedy for the BCG
