The Lady Craved Excitement (1950)

Oh dear, what can I say about this. One from the early stable of Hammer Films before they found their raison d'etre with horror films, and a quota quickie they were specialising in at the time, but this one sucks compared to others they made that are a feature of TPTV at the moment. For example, Someone At The Door, which I reviewed recently and also starred Michael Medwin and Danny Green.

But this also had Sid James in it as an Italian night club owner, with hair parted down the middle, a tash and awful Italian accent - he must have done it for the money.

Leading lady was the multi-talented Hy Hazell, who I'd seen in films before and remembered about her tragic death when she choked on a piece of steak in a West End restaurant aged only 49.

2/10 would have been slightly more if it hadn't been for Sid James's awful part.
