Looking for a dark comedy co-writer/performer/filmmaker

Hi,

I'm a dark comedy writer/performer looking to collaborate with someone that has a similar sense of humour. Could be a co-writer, could be a performer, could be a filmmaker. I'm open to possibilities. Difficult to convey in a forum post but my favourite shows will probably give you a good idea:

Bottom
Reeves & Mortimer
Alan Partridge
IT Crowd
Inbetweeners
Fawlty Towers
Monty Python
Mighty Boosh
Flight Of The Conchords
Young Ones
Red Dwarf
Black Adder

I've made numerous short films that have been selected in film festivals and had a script in the winning six of Sitcom Mission 2020. Search "core of monkos" and "lack of hinge" to see my previous work. I'm based in SW London and would prefer to be able to meet face-to-face. At least occasionally.

Filmmaking is my passion and for one reason or another, I find myself inactive at the moment. Let's make some people laugh!

Jon

Hi Jon,

I see you posted this over a year ago now, so not sure if you'd see it now. Regardless, I'd be interested in having a chat about writing. From your sitcom list I can tell we could have a similar sense of humour.

Let me know if you want to chat further.

Jack

I've no idea if you're still interested but I'm a deeply frustrated comedy writer looking for someone to spark off of. Your list of shows is...well there are no Big Bang Theories or Family Guys in there, so that's a good thing straight away. And I like all those shows. I also have quite a dark sense of humour and generally quite a dark perspective.

I've written some sketches, and submitted a few scripts, and done some small things on my YT channel that are either comedy, or they touch on comedy, but really what's lacking is someone else with whom to share ideas and collaborate, and compete with in a productive, firendly way. I don't live in London, but have family there, and visit now and then.

If you're still interested/alive, get in touch.
