Okay. But the league's staying and he can say what he likes at the end of the season, it's a free country, I'm not driven by personal prejudice

Don started it by deleting himself from the clique. You've just exacerbated the situation by creating a breakaway league which now has two second teams in it from John Pass and Radish. Radish who couldn't be bothered to get off his arse and make one post last season, but is straight in with a second team in yours. You've needlessly sabotaged something that was working well and in the process ramped up all the resentments by an order of magnitude, you silly old fool.

I want to play in a competitive league with proven winners and now I'm in two.

Astonishingly, it's not all about you.

And it's a game, not a war.

Games rely on sportsmanship, which no-one in your breakaway league has.

Blazin' a trail, pal. It's what champions do.

Thanks for giving my cringe reflex a good workout Don. Shouldn't a 'champion' get extra points from playing their wildcard? You actually got 1pt less from your wildcard team this week than if you'd done nothing and stuck with the players you had.

Also I wouldn't call wildcarding at the end of GW2 'Blazin' a trail'. I'd probably call it 'realising you didn't start the season with many good picks' - or, if you're determined to use the blazing metaphor; 'putting out a blaze'.

So Godot - you had a little spy eh. Did you join and then resign?
Sneaky tactics all round then.

No, I didn't 'join and then resign'. đŸ¤ª

I looked at your league by clicking on the link in the sidebar. You do understand that your league is public, right?

No he's welcome to have a look, and he can join if he wants. Our extra little league is no threat at all to the one he lords over, even if two newcomers have created extra teams, so what? they're both banned from their scores counting in the main league, maybe that's why they joined? And it might even act as a useful experiment to see how far it gets them at the end of the season, missing three games. Godot missed one, whinged like hell, I sympathised with his case and levelled the playing field, against much objection.

All I'm doing is offering the same inclusion I offered Godot, but in a much smaller league. This is a just a little place for those who've been frozen out and want somewhere to play, why would you want to stop that?

This sums up they way I see my season going..................

Wildcards don't have to bring instant points to be successful, judge it in a few weeks against non wildcarded teams. And at least we can judge it now.

I can't work out whether you write this rubbish to annoy me or because you actually believe it. Nobody's been f**king 'frozen out', they removed themselves. Radish hasn't posted jack shit for a year, but he's clearly been reading the forum cos he saw the code to join your league. I've given him so many chances and still haven't removed him. And creating a splinter league so Don can play against a third of the league while he's banned is not 'inclusion', it's undermining the league. You get that you're not supposed to have more than one team, right? It's in the rules under 'Choosing your initial squad';

Q: Can I have more than one team?
A: In the interest of fair play each person may only enter one team. https://fantasy.premierleague.com/help

Ah well, yes, that is naughty. I noticed it but didn't know there was a rule against it.

Yes, and sorry Stephen, but you and Alf have fallen into Don's trap just so he can, at the end of the season, (and if he's higher in "your" league) publish his own version of the official league, with possibly him on top - I don't know why you and Alf couldn't see that, but Don is a very devious person. He might even have another team in another league that we don't know of.

I joined just to peek at who was in it, and then left.

It's such a shame that we finally seemed to have Godot sorting it out with one "super" league and now we're back where we started with fractured leagues and devious goings-on behind the scenes.

As I've said before, I have absolutely nothing against Don playing in Up the Clique Without a Paddle, but he needs to wait, and in the meantime, he can enjoy membership of Super 6 - providing he posts any comments on the dedicated thread and not the FPL one!!

I haven't fallen into any trap. One press of the 'delete league' in a fit of pique and it's gone.
I have the same team in both leagues so it doesn't matter which one I use.

This I'm afraid is unfounded prejudice.

If he did it would show on his list of private leagues he's in. The only one he's in is the one I created.

You handle your admin of that league Godot, I'll handle the admin of the other one, you have no jurisdiction in The Ding Don League, how much of an empire do you want? I'm well aware of the No two teams directive, and like you I can decide to stop their points counting or delete them when ready. The fact they are already banned from competing for a place in the Up the Clique league should be noted.

To be fair I didn't realise that people were putting different teams in that league
That does ruin it and any point the breakaway league had
Oh well at least it ups the page count on this thread

Nor did I, but Godot's over reacting to an irrelevance. It's an additional temporary league not a breakaway league, it is no threat to anything but Godot's ego.
