Annoying thing is I was tempted to go 1 -1 on Chelsea Liverpool but all the nil nils they've had recently was too alluring
I've started as I mean to go on. 3 no-shows.
Mings was on my bench and not my first team, but his injury means he's transfer number 1. Was only 4.5 so not much wriggle room - have swapped him out for Chelsea's Gusto.
I had 2 no-shows myself - Tierney and Stones.

Onana owners - Onanists? - were unbelievably lucky to get 9 points out of that game.
On the strength of that performance I'm going to say United will struggle this season and will get murdered by any side with better finishing than Wolves. Onana needs to spend less time at the barbers and more time in the nets.

The year I took over as admin - nearly a hundred. We had 15 players and I even managed to get Dan Uproar and Turmoil himself to post by contacting him through LinkedIn. People moaned about the posting rule but they did it and we all had a laugh.
Why wreck that? You say it's not a political manoeuvre and you're happy with the Clique but then you say you're going to hand over the admin of your breakaway league on a 'rolling season basis'. In other words we're going to have a breakaway league every year courtesy of you. Why not have a league each? - then we can all win.
And I'm disappointed with Steve (Sunshine). I've long known that he would give his Sunday lunch to a tramp if he thought it would annoy me, but why encourage this childishness, Steve? Just because I said you had no knowledge of football and were a moral vacuum? Come on!
Anyway, I'm not going to fuel this idiocy. I'm not going to sit by and watch you post super six talk here when it's got its own thread and generally make everything shit like children smashing up the toys their parents have worked all year to buy.

Only Don's posting about the Super 6 on this thread, and why do you think that is? If you hadn't taken your rivalry with him too far and overused your position to play personal politics instead of keeping it all at a matey banter level then he wouldn't be doing it.
And I wasn't being serious when I said put your hand up for next year, it was a jokey bantery suggestion that you might've banned him for something else for next season and a Don-like wind up on his behalf. I pleaded his case to be let back in, thinking you'd consider it after what you said then felt stupid when you kept the door slammed shut, so I started another league in the name of fairmindedness to counter this bloodymindedness, but all done in good jest.
It's our own little bi league to give him some game time, and for me to gauge my puny efforts with. I couldn't see his scores last season, which didn't help in my hapless chase of Anton, and for several seasons here they've had very close battles right to the end, so knowing how he was doing then would have been useful to see if Anton was off his game or on it, as he had no other challengers than my little self at the top from about midwayish, after Ben and Radish fell away.
Like I said, I felt the league wasn't truly competitive without one of the two triple champs and the more consistent of the two. It was a giveaway title for Anton, good consistent player but doesn't post as much as Don still does, even though he's not allowed to play! How is that sporting and fair I ask? It doesn't impact on this league in any way, ofcourse Don's going to wind you up saying it's the official league, but it's footbally banter ffs, I thought that's why we were here.
It is why we are here. The jokes and nobbling are a big part of it.
No quarter given and no quarter taken.
It's probably why we have no 'softies' in the league

Don deleted himself from the Clique last season. I didn't boot him, he deleted himself. He created this situation. If he'd stuck with his Clique team instead of trying to gain an advantage he would have been in the Clique last season and this season. I didn't 'play politics' or 'overuse' anything. He did. As for 'my rivalry' with him - I could have easily deleted him from the clique the season he won and I came second. Instead I made him two manager of the month pics. I've always tried to be fair.

There's nothing sporting about starting the game with more than one team. It's actually the very definition of unsporting.
