Whatever, I'd rather have Godot than Don on a regular basis - someone who knows what they are talking about and not trying to be a smart arse.

Don's won the title three times, Godot hasn't yet won, so I know who I'd listen to on FF advice.

Godot does give help - Don just exudes smugness. I never seen him give any advice.

Show some imagination. Give it to Wissa.

There's a Wissa and Chips joke here, but I can't quite put it together.

Godot not posting very often - isn't there a rule or something?

I've been on holiday. Were you brooding on my absence all night, that you had to make that post at 9.52am?

Regarding the posting rule, which you're mocking, it gave us a 100 page thread with contributions from everyone, including Dan Sweryt and J Pass and others who never post normally. With a breakaway league it's impossible to have any rules and you're left relying on other people's fairness and sense of sportsmanship - of which there isn't any.

I think he's "slightly" pissed of with certain bods on here, and if he has given up, it would be a crying shame as he talks a lot of sense - so much for one happy FPL league, which he was striving for.

Those quote marks around 'slightly' are well chosen.

You don't listen so who gives you advice is beside the point.

As for your bizarre love affair with Don and the 'Hall of Fame' - FPL is a lottery and you can't win it or even place high by knowing about football or watching games. You can play well (i.e. sensibly and logically) but whether you'll get any points from it is up in the f**king air. That's just the truth of it.

This week is a perfect example. I put out a good team and had returns from half my players including 3 double digit returns. I still ended up with below average points and dropped a million places. The reason - high ownership of Mitoma. He played almost 90 minutes midweek against Athens and wasn't predicted to start Sunday's game - which he didn't. Ferguson started in his place and was far more likely to score given he plays number 9 and already had four goals under his belt. Instead De Zerbi changed formation at half time, brought on Mitoma who got a brace and maximum bonus doubling his best score for the season. Mitoma's a great footballer and well priced but Brighton's fixtures going forward are not great and the reason he's in so many teams is simply inertia - it's not some great insight.

Same with the freak Newcastle result. A CS against Sheffield United wasn't a surprise but also wasn't a given since they had previously scored in all of their games, except the opener, including against both Man City and Spurs who they also held to 2 goals apiece. Instead almost everyone in the Newcastle team got on the score sheet baring Schar, a couple of subs and the keeper. Nothing like that will happen again all season but some people in our league got 30 and 18pts from their defence in that game, which could easily have been 2 or 4.

Don, who you want to bum, ironically had the only Newcastle player who failed to get a goal or assist and played the whole 90. That actually wasn't bad decision-making on his part just not being lucky, which is what powers the game.

Any hole's a goal.

Especially when you claim to be a Handsome Boy

Oh, I've dropped my soap - can you pick it up for me? As it's down your end of the shower...................

There's a lot of players with yellow exclamation marks in my team this week. In fact I have more players with yellow exclamation marks than I have substitutes on the bench waiting to come on to replace them. Which could be a problem.

Yes I had the same
least it gave me an excuse to transfer out Chilwell

Was that an inspired last minute buy of Watkins for injured Wilson, or pure luck - now where's me lottery ticket................

Billy and Godot are the new joint leaders. Of course it doesn't look quite as good when you're already 50 and 80 points respectively behind two non counting players after only 7 gameweeks. But well done anyway.

What leatgue is that in?
Don't tell me there;s aonther one
