The Millionth Captain Oates Sketch

Captain Oates Sketch
====================

Int. A Tent in Antarctica – 1912

CAPTAIN SCOTT IS WRITING IN HIS DIARY. CAPTAIN OATES IS AT THE DOOR OF THE TENT.

Captain Oates: I am just going outside and may be some time.

Captain Scott: Good Man.

FULL-LENGTH VIEW OF CAPTAIN OATES SHOWS HE HAS A ROLLED-UP NEWSPAPER UNDER HIS ARM. HE PLACES A HAND ON HIS STOMACH.

Captain Oates: That tinned food is playing merry hell with my stomach.

Very nice! I think that it wouldn't be hurt to get shot of the last, Captain Oates, line but I might be way off. Good stuff. x

Thanks, Marion. I also wondered about the last line overstating the obvious.

I really really like this - and agree, better without the last line.
