Does this ring a bell?

I'm trying to remember which sitcom this scene comes from. Hopefully it will ring a bell with someone.

There was a house party and someone was wearing a mask (I think it was a kids TV character puppet mask). For some reason they ran out of the house, into the garden, and began to rip the mask off. In the upstairs window of the house next door a mother shielded the eyes of her two children from the gruesome scene (gruesome because the kids see a human face emerging from thd puppet). Please tell me I didn't dream this 🤣 Many thanks 👍

This sounds a fun scene ... feels vaguely familiar but I can't place it on that alone. Are you able to recall any other detail, such as what people looked like or what decade the show would be from?

Quite a young cast. I was thinking Inbetweeners or Peep Show, but I suspect if it was either of those, it would have been identified quickly.

Same as Aaron here, sounds familiar but I'm struggling to place it!

Was it definitely a sitcom? I'm picturing Skins for some reason.
