I know it might not be available on the site template thingy but so often I'd like to click like on posts because replying with a thumbs up or something seems like overkill.

We've wondered about this before. We'll keep it in consideration for future development potential, but for the moment we'd rather people are encouraged to post and maybe share a few of their own thoughts too rather than lurking in the background.
