Half way through this DVD I bought in Network's sale, and have to say I expected something funnier from the pen of Barry Cryer and Graham Chapman, starring Ronnie Corbett and the lovely Rosemary Leach.
Only 6 episodes, thank heavens.

Aye Caramba
Manage to finish the DVD tonight - thank heavens it was only a one off short series of 6 episodes.
Given the pedigree, it's amazing that something could be so abysmally unfunny.
And the running gag of one man trying to solve a crossword, a woman petting her dog and another ordering yet another whisky because he's missed his train, was all incredibly trite.
I guess that despite you could argue the 70's was a golden age for sitcoms - there was definitely a lot of absolutely awful guff too!
