Great series. Funny, dark, occasionally horrific.
Far more of a whimsical thriller than a comedy, and certainly very cleverly layered and structured.
And yes, going back to something Chappers (I think) said, it strikes me as playing out on a very female level. I'm not sure quite how to explain what I mean by that, but beyond the central characters and writers, it feels like it tackles themes, and does so with a viewpoint, that is particularly female, and is likely to have a particularly strong female fanbase accordingly.
