A writers CV

it's probably about 10 years since I wrote a CV.

But recently I keep getting asked for one.

So, I was wandering if anyone might be able to help me put a new one together. I'm wondering what a CV looks like for a comedy writer.

Would you be happy to send me yours? I promise to keep it confidential.

many thanks
JW

I guess it's just a list of what you've done, rather than a layout or anything -- more a concept that a physical thing, if you see what I mean.

Look for any writer/actor's CV on line (either agents or personal website) and you'll see it's just a list of stuff, rather than in-depth 'what you've done/achieved' as it would be for a 'regular' CV.

I'd send you mine but it's very short!

I've been told that if you've attended any writing courses/etc you should put them down too. Though I guess that's if you can't stuff it full of cutting-edge TV progs you've been involved in.

Also, don't worry about there not being too much; 'big' stars haven't really been in that much, if you think about it.

Hope this helps

Dan
