Favourite Joke/Moment from a Sitcom?

I was just thinking about one of mine, which inspired this thread.

That would be the one where, Joey from Friends used a thesaurus to write a recommendation letter for the Bing's. And signed it,

Baby Kangaroo Tribbiani.

:D

Only Fools, at the end of the episode where Del takes Boycie to the cleaners at Poker. Rodney knows Del has a double headed coin and calls for Del in a £200 bet:

"Tails"

(Edit: Episode is "A Losing Streak", definitely one of the best of the half hour episodes)

From recent sitcoms mine would have to be NGO first series, the death of Tims gran.
TIM: She was 96...i thought she'd live to be a hundred.

LEE: Were you very close?

TIM: I was only 4 years out.

That reminds me of another OFAH corker:

Albert: My Grandad lived 'til he was 81.
Del: See, 81, that's a good age.
Albert: It weren't for him, he died.

Laughing out loud

OFAH (paraphrased):

Grandad: Del Boy, I'd like to be cremated.
Del Boy: In the morning Grandad, they'll be closed now.

Spaced:

Daisy Steiner: Do you rent downstairs?
Brian: You mean am I gay?
Daisy Steiner: No, I meant "Do you rent the downstairs flat?"
Brian: Oh. Yep, sort of.
Tim: Are you gay?

The whole routine with jumbo mills in the nags head takes some beating, there's about five minutes of great one liners.

This is a great thread by the way, what's the record for replies? this could beat it.

Preliminary and in random order:

- Dougal guarding the corner flag.

- Manny telling Bernard that he cannot live from the mushrooms in his hair alone; Bernard facial expression when pulling a mushroom from behind his ear.

- The Statham/gallbladder incident

- the whole cluster of moments around the Kicking Bishop Brennan up the arse project

- Ted explaining to Dougal the difference between small and very far away

°Finck (starting to search for her comedy collection right now)

Brian: Do you think I should lose the waistcoat?
Tim: I think you should burn it... cos if you lose it... you might find it.

Red Dwarf 'Tikka To Ride'

Lister: ...where those people are gathered around that giant pizza.
Kryten: That's not a giant pizza, sir.
Lister: That's *not* a giant pizza?! Where do you eat? The Fat-bastard-eria?

also in same episode, Rimmer's delivery at the end of this dialogue is second-to-none:

Cat: Good chicken man!
Kryten: It's not chicken
Lister: What is it?
Kryten: It's that man we found.
Rimmer: First you're down. Then you're right back up again!

Seinfeld, The Boyfriend episode where George pretends he's working for a 'latex company' and gives Jerry's address as the address of the company, so every time the phone rings George wants Jerry to answer 'Vandalay Industries'. But Kramer answers the phone and doesn't know what they are talking about, which leads to George running out of the bathroom with his pants down and falling flat on the floor, to which then Jerry enters the flat to see this and comes out with the famous adlibbed like.."And you want to be my latex salesman"

Ab fab, when the kitchens been on fire, everythings burnt including Patsy, until she sits up, she still has the fag in her gob.Love it!

I've never seen that one. I did love the one where Joey could only afford an encyclopedia beginning with the letter V. And while in the coffee house said 'How 'bout those volcanoes?' Cue puzzled looks by all. Joey went on to say he didn't have to talk about volcanoes before rattling off other subjects beginning with V.

OFAH: the chandelier scene, the batman and robin scene, the falling through the bar scene..

Dads Army: don't tell him, Pike!

BSG: Aaron: I'm not too geeky am I? / Mark: 'course not!
