Talking Pictures

This is a series on TPTV, which is interviews with people from the entertainment world, who are still alive (!), and generally they are very interesting, being done in front of a live audience in a theatre similar to what the Beeb did 20 odd years ago in the NFT with film actors.

So, todays was Freddie "Parrot Face" Davies. Now, I've never rated him much, but he came over as a really nice bloke and had been in showbiz since a child, and even had Cary Grant as a fan. I suppose there's few on this forum who've ever heard of him, but believe it or not, he even had a small part in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as one of the living portraits.

Anyway, they don't always work out OK, as last week they had Amanda Barrie on, and I'm sorry to say, I have never heard any one so bloody boring! Zipping from mumbled anecdote to uninteresting anecdote, I simply had to give up on her. Shame really, but some people clearly have no presence.
