Wasn't sure if there was already a thread on this guy, as Forum search seems to have gone AWOL.
ANYWAY, I was thinking, if we ever needed a left-of-centre comedian to run OUR country, he'd be a pretty good fit.

Listened to the Jo Brand int. Barry Cryer (Chain Reaction), which was superb and if you want to listen to two lefties buffing each other up............................

God, I bet the Alexei/Thomas one was essentially a reading of Das Kapital.
But you have to admit, the visual likeness is uncanny.

Legend. When I was at Cumbridge I met a guy who lived with him and said he used to get up at the crack of dawn, buy all the papers and get scribbling till noon every day.

I thought we already had a left-of-centre comedian running our country.

And the search facility is up there on the blue strip right next to active threads.
