As some of you know, I usually only watch British B&W pre/post war films, but have always been fascinated by this crazy American film. Saw clips of it now and then over the years, but the entire thing never made an appearance - so, I bought the DVD.
And it was worth it! A very fast moving mad-cap comedy/music extravaganza that was way ahead of its time with clever running gags and hair-brain breaking of the fourth wall.
Most enjoyable.
of course, it'll now be on the TV soon I expect...............
