1941.............. I remember Cuticura talcum powder my Mother used, and I see we were re-treading shoes as well as tyres - do they still do tyre re-treads?

**EDIT Just noticed that 1lb boxes (Note - not tins) of Quality Street are 2/4 (2 shillings and 4 pence), which is 12p in today's money!!!
