Hmm I'd say it was an old brand we don't see anymore, so not Glenfiddich. Same shape bottle in this ad, half normal size, with a solid black diamond shape motif on a white label middle or middle top. I'd say more Palmer than Bond, but definitely LeCarre, The Spy Who Came In From The Cold had it in a lot of scenes. I'm almost certain they had a bottle in Georgy Girl, same period, so I'm thinking maybe it was product placement for a new or popular brand of the time. And I'm fairly sure they had them in The Deadly Affair 1967 James Mason, another LeCarre type spy film but in colour. But in TSWCIFTC it seemed to be everywhere, unfortunately I don't have it on DVD.

One I thought of that had a diamond motif was Black & White, but that was a white diamond on black - they later used the two Scottie dogs, one white, one black.
Yes/No? ?
Don't be vague ask for Haig.
What a brilliant slogan.
I say it sometimes now,no one here knows what I'm on about of course.

Hello Alfred. Are these the whisky bottles you mean? The following shots (no pun intended) are from 'The spy who came in from the cold'. All the bottles are Haig whisky and the white triangle is on the back of the bottle.
