Another new light-entertainment comedy game/quiz format, Question Team - hosted by Richard Ayoade - debuted on Dave last night.
A proper triumph IMO. Perhaps in no small part down to Bob Mortimer's involvement in this first episode, but I thought it a very promising format, and both Kerry and Thanyia were brilliant too.
With the right mix of guests each week, I think this new series could be a proper hit.
I don't know what they pay for the services of Bob Mortimer, but you always get value for money from the lovable loon.
I agree that Bob Mortimer was good, but otherwise I wasn't impressed with the first episode of Question Team. The format seems pretty weak - each celebrity guest asks the other guests a set of questions about a topic of their choice... stretched out to an hour..? Bob Mortimer can make almost anything entertaining, even putting DIY items in order! - but I'm really not interested in watching Kerry Godliman asking questions about camping or whatever.
Good to see Richard in his customary Geek on Mescaline outfit.
