Have you ever seen a sitcom being recorded in your locality? Page 2

The frankly, rather poor sitcom Boomers' exteriors were filmed on the Studd Hill Estate located on the coast between Herne Bay and Whitstable. I have even submitted this nerdy fact to IMdB and it's there for all to see.

My parents have a holiday bungalow in Studd Hill and I've been going there since I was a mere lass of nine.

Just remembered, I was an unpaid extra in a 6 part series in the 70's
It was called The wild west show written and directed by Colin Welland.

Some of it was filmed at my rugby club where I was a player.
(It was about rugby)
We were filmed playing for general shots and then we all went into the stand as the crowd
Wellend shouting through a megaphone 'all look left, now look right, cheer, boo etc
It was great fun and then it was free food and beer in the clubhouse.
