It's half the trick watching for when it's happening. They throw a lot of mid- weekers in during the season.
Herc whined all year that he'd missed he first game but then won it.

Fear not - I won it last year, after starting a week late, so don't give up already!
Silliest thing is, I was looking at the matches on Friday night and Saturday morning (not the TV Show or Specials song, arf arf) and should have just done it then!
We few we happy few, we band of brothers..............
Gone for a risky 386/1 selection today, so backed it with a pound. It wouldn't let me put 5p on it. Quite like the new interface if that's what you call it. Nice and colourful and it has a little box you can open in the top right corner to help you not miss any games. I'm not so bowled over by the newly staggered match time choices, but it's obviously designed to get punters going in several times to check, instead of just the once, hoping for a further flutter or two. Dan's the early leader (in one league) and I still can't get a score right. ☹
Yeah, I spent 50 weeks at a £1 a week on your recommendation last season, and won diddly squat.

As I think I said at the Brighton Conference (when a 64/1 sixfold had gone unbacked):
Quote: Billy Bunter @ 14th September 2021, 8:38 AMThat is exactly why I didn't bet on my sixfold last week. Or feel bad for missing out. I know that if I were tempted to do so on a regular basis, I would already have lost far in excess of those winnings over the preceding years. And would lose them again over the next 64 weeks.
Well it didn't work for last season when there were some strange results and a full house was hard to get, rare though. Having said that it's just not worth the risk for a not massive return anyway. To try and make your money back Herc how about some weekly treble 'bankers' at about evens.
Also an email bet offer you should have received from Skybet - now even money (from 1/4) on Haaland & De Bruyne to have at least one shot on target each at home to Bournemouth. Max £25 lay. They give one of these even money deals every week, last week was a £10 max lay and it came in - Haaland to score and he did. Won £10

Confused me for a moment there with your use of the word "lay".
William Hill (on-line or in shops for holders of their "plus card") were offering evens (instead of 1/16) a goal to be scored in the A Villa v Everton lunchtime game today to a maximum £10 stake. Even if you feared that that might be a loser, you could have had £2 on the 0-0 draw (or, better still no goalscorer) @ 10/1 for a certain £8 profit..

Came in. Easy £25 made. Bet they lost a few million on that one. Even if it goes back to £10 max, it's a nice tenner most weeks, the odd one won't come in but most should, making a cautious estimate of at least £200 - 250 in a season, more if the max rises and you follow it. It's a much better return than any ISA gives.
Well done Feeore, 11 points with just one week

Yes, well in already.
Even Stelling didn't get the Brentford/Man U result - what a fiasco
So are we all in the draw for the telly?
This week's Sky bet evens offer to a max stake of £25 is Zaha one or more shots on target at home to Villa, up from 1/2. Scored last week and Palace should be buoyed up by that away draw with Liverpool so I've gone for it though can understand others not following, given his inconsistency. I'll be relieved if this one comes in.
Good start Feeoree, you're in the mix. Can I get my first score right today? Not hopeful.
There is potential for big scores today. I would guess not many 1 - 0's

Can't see it, and have chickened out by going safe, but what the f**k do I know.
