Just started watching this. I didn't like the US version but this one really captures what makes Taskmaster work, not least Paul Williams who does a brilliant job as Alex.
The contestants are a lot of fun with the stand out being Brynley Stent.

Episode 2 of Series 2 might be my favourite episode of Taskmaster ever.
Cheers
will have a look
Brilliant news, Taskmaster New Zealand has finally been recommissioned for a third series. This is my favourite of the foreign versions, Paul Williams rivals Alex in how funny he is. https://www.nzonair.govt.nz/news/april-2022-funding-decisions/
Oh, good stuff! I watched all the first series and some of the second series on Youtube last year - I saw this thread before I even registered at this forum. Probably would never have known about it otherwise, so thanks for that. I preferred the first series from what I remember.
Agreed about Paul Williams being good in the Alex role. I wasn't keen on Jeremy Wells at first, as he's rather tame in the role compared to Greg Davies, but he seemed to get better as it went on. (And Greg Davies' loud and overpowering shtick can get f**ken annoying at times anyway).
Taskmaster New Zealand seasons 1 to 3 are now streaming on 40D. They are well worth watching, every bit as funny as the UK version.
