That's not what I was asking, although Raya did well for me up to Week 5 - so do you not buy a replacement goalie when your "reserve" is out until next spring? That is, of course, you go for 5 months playing with only one keeper, which is the impression you gave me from your previous post to Billy.
I'm clearly not the best person to take advice off at the minute -although I would like to remind people that I'm still last years H2H champ - but in my opinion, the back up keeper is not worth replacing unless you've actually got a spare transfer one week. My back up keeper has been out on loan since August. Doesn't matter too much if you've got a regular starter.
I mean, my main keeper (Schmeichel) has been a bit of a let down. I thought him and Leicester would be a solid option for the cost of 5. But that doesn't change the fact that my back-up has not been needed.
I gave my son a bit of advice in the summer, and I've not stuck to it myself, but I maintain it makes good sense... I told him to get Mendy or Ederson, because whilst it would be nice to have 3 players each from City and Chelsea; it would be a massive gamble to expect them all to start. I felt the keepers from either would be a way to gain from their expected good results without worrying about rotation.
