And here's the other extreme of Harry Langdon - a short with sound he made at the end of his career, dying some 4 years later.

Weird unfunny story of his grandfather haunting the policeman's uniform that belonged to him being used in a am dram stage production. In fact, the OTT drama being rehearsed was about the funniest thing in the film. On reflection, the bit of slapstick at the end was also quite amusing.

Sad to see a great silent movie comedy actor, literally, loosing the plot.
