INT. FAWLTY TOWERS - DAY

Jack Nicholson stands behind the counter, filling in some paper work. A guest walks in and up to the counter, Jack doesn't look up and so the guest dings the bell. Jack still doesn't look up, again the guest dings the bell still nothing from Jack. The guest dings the bell for a third time and Jack, without looking up throws the bell out of the front door.

GUEST
Excuse me?

JACK
Yeesss?

GUEST
I'd like to make a complaint.

JACK
Oh would you?

GUEST
Yes, it's about your waiter.

JACK
Don't worry about him, he's from Barcelona.

GUEST
Well it's not really a complaint against him.

JACK
What do you think this is, a hotel? Right, right what's the problem?

GUEST
He's putting me off my dinner.

JACK
How is he putting you off your dinner?

GUEST
Well he-

JACK(Shouting)
MANUEL! MANUEL!

GUEST
Yes, I don't think that'll work.

JACK
Oh I see, you know how to run a hotel do you? Oh right, then why am I stood here, why don't I come to you? Hello, I keep being pestered by dim-wits!

Major walks through into the bar.

JACK
Afternoon Major.

MAJOR
After some Red Rum Fawlty.

JACK
Very good Major.

Jack throws a confused look at the guest as Major exits.

JACK
Okay, okay, show me the problem.

INT. DINNING ROOM - DAY (CONTINUOUS)

Jack and the guest enter the dinning room.

Manuel lays on the floor, in a pool of blood, stabbed with a spoon.

Jack turns to Miss Tibbs & Miss Gatsby, sitting at one of the tables.

JACK
Does this bother you ladies?

MISS TIBBS & MISS GATSBY
No Mr. Fawlty we like it here, we want to stay here forever and ever and ever and ever...

END

GUEST
Does this bother you?

MISS TIBBS & MISS GATSBY
Well we've been here forever and ever and ever and ever...

Btw, I'm quoting that above as a new practice of mine, keeping in everything for alternatives and edits.

:)

I liked it. I didn't see the end coming.
The only thing that I might say is that when the guest turns to Miss Tibbs and Miss Gatsby at the end you could have them too daft/frightened of Basil/used to it to notice. The line says to me that they know it's wrong but they put up with it.
Anyway, that's just one line out of a very good sketch. Nice one, you.

Cheers and yes, I actually meant for Basil/Jack to ask it, doh as in reference to Waldorf Salad episode.

Thanks.

:)

I liked it Lee. Very good. Come to my oriffice to recieve your reward.

Cheers Charley.

:)

Nice idea Lee. I didn't see it coming either. Basil could be Anthony Perkins rather than Jack Nick. Just a thought. I'll shut up.

Cheers Mark, I could've gone with Norman. But The Shining is one of my most favouritist films and I can use many more reference points from.

:D

Good idea, nicely done.

Cheers Stu.
