So sad
Rest In Peace Sir Tom, you've certainly earned it. A true English gentleman.

A very decent and nice man its a sad loss even given his age he deserved to see the other side of this vile virus.
A Great British hero, humorous, humble and a gentleman. Captain Sir Tom brightened the lives of so many during difficult times. He achieved far more in the last ten months of his life than most of us would, had we lived for one hundred years. Rest well Sir, you've earned it.
RIP
What a legend
But seriously... what the heck were people thinking sending him off to Barbados the other week for a holiday??
RIP Sir Tom.
There's no justice in this world, lesser men have caught it and survived.

Still had the cheque book, but had lost the pen over the years. It would be nice to see that one in its entirety.

It was his one regret that he never went to the Caribbean, with Barbados being on his bucket list, and so BA flew him and his family there. I expect someone also paid for the holiday, not that his daughter Hannah and her husband needed it, by the look of their house.
HIs funeral this morning with a flypast of a C-47 Dakota, firing party of 14 each firing three rounds, and a bugler sounding The Last Post at the end of the service.
Well deserved Rest In Peace, my good man.
