Up In The World

Up In The World the 4th of Norman's films. I must say this one was a cracker. Really found it very funny and found Sir Reginald a very funny character and with Norman's antics in the film it was a very funny film. Also love the prison scenes in the film and we see a Bernard Bresslaw playing one of the prisoners and we see Cyril Chamberlain playing the villainous staff member who associated with some local criminals.

Your thoughts on this film?

It's a film really of two parts, both of which seem rather long, but yet the whole doesn't feel quite a stretch! Peculiar.

Funny though. Albeit I've seen it more than any of the others so slightly dulled to its charms now; but very good.

Just watched this, and cannot see why I ever thought it was funny - not one of his best I think, with many others far funnier, such as "The Early Bird"
