Well, tis the season.....................why not
Fircombe by the Sea.
A lot of it went on.............so I've heard.
You've got more saucy postcards than pornhub Herc, you're quite the collector, you should go on antiques road show. Looking forwards to alison blunderland's modern take on these. Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue ... and all that.

Really? Half the time I find them unfunny and the other half I don't understand.

I get why you'd say that, but comedy is about relatability isn't it ? So we're all going to relate to different stuff. The old versions are too familiar to surprise, so at least a rework is a new idea and chance of a bigger surprise, even if it doesn't land.

You've talked me into it, Firkin.

Thank you, Firkin. I was actually on Antiques Roadshow about 35 years ago, but with something completely different.
I don't think you will understand this, BUT your "Looking forwards to alison blunderland's modern take on these." is why I didn't post anymore, and thought he had gone away at last, but it seems not.
So sad to say, you have innocently put the kibosh on me posting any more yet again, and I am not alone in taking this stance, as borne out by Chappers here :-

The humour value of your postcard interpretations are off the scale but in the wrong direction. The originals have a certain historical charm which is lost when they are edited with contemporary and lacklustre language like that. No doubt Lolly Adefope is waiting in the wings to make an appearance.

Well said! - I got sick and tired of "my cards" being vandalised, and that is why I don't post on this thread anymore.
I left the thread to him/her (whatever), and see what happens - nowt, as he/she seems to be the only one entertained by them.
Still, I suppose it keeps them off the street.
There's a wheel in the middle of my mouse. I can twiddle it with my index finger and the web page moves up or down fast or slow.
If I see something I don't like or don't want to see or read, I twiddle it. It's as if specific posts never existed.

A variation with new dialogue by me.
