No, I doubt that's true. Personally I think that The IT Crowd is a million miles below Father Ted (although admittedly not as bad as this).
I gave the last 4 comedy shwocases a chance but I turned this off half way through to watch Cate Blanchett on Jonothan Ross. She was funnier and more pretty, haha.

Its not as good as Ted, no, but its a very good show, and infinitely superior to this crap.
Well that's where opinions differ.
I preferred this to the Martin Freeman one.
Still - it probably all depende in what mood you're in when you watch them.
I taped this and haven't seen it yet. Judging from the reaction on here I may give it a miss. Was it really that awful?
I finally got round to watching it and agree with the consensus. It really was trying to be like Father Ted but wasn't close.
