Typical mediocre 1950s British colour (not too saturated) comedy film with George Cole in the leading part, along with Jon Pertwee and bit parts for a number of faces, including Sid James, James Hayter, Brian Wilde, Peter Butterworth, Arthur Howard and the ubiquitous Wally Patch, but stealing the film for me was Joan Sims in her debut film and very funny she was too. Also, the first film for Lionel Jeffries I notice.
Not a riot of fun, but well worth a watch.
