I've got this scene in my mind, where two characters are discussing a new bed and the fact that the mattress is too long and one suggests to just cut the end off. But the other says you can't just do that, as they're designed in a certain way, you can't just cut into it. I think then they cut into it and agree, you can't just cut into a mattress.
I was thinking it might be from a 90s flat share comedy, Men Behaving Badly or something like that. But then I thought it might be from Friends/Seinfeld. But now I'm thinking it might have been an antidote from something like Baddiel and Skinner??
Any ideas?
