Quote: Hercules Grytpype Thynne @ 10th July 2019, 6:46 AMJohn Mills, when on the screen stole the scene for me - the man can do no wrong imo. Brilliant actor, and we're watching "Hobson's Choice" next in which he had a starring part of course.
Watched it - brilliant, as was Charles Laughton with Prunella Scales looking about 18 (actually 22)
Goes without saying (what an odd phrase that is) that Charles Laughton was a very fine actor and for me he WAS Henry VIII - superb! Unbelievable as Quasimodo too!
And must mention Brenda de Banzie who starred in Too Many Crooks, along with (blink and you'll miss her) the ubiquitous and tiny Edie Martin (Terry-Thomas' mother!), but in this film uncredited.
