Manchester United footballer, Paul Pogba, has just celebrated his 26th birthday and has decided to launch a campaign to raise £26,000 from the public to help supply drinking water to developing countries.
Commendable, you might think - until you realise that Paul is earning €70,000 per DAY!
Why on earth would he even consider asking the public to donate to his cause when he himself is earning €24 million per year?
He could pull £26,000 out of his back pocket and never miss it!
His offence is mitigated to some extent by the fact that, once the £26,000 has been raised from public funds, he'll contribute a similar amount from his own (back) pocket.
But seriously, folks - why involve the public at all if he's that keen to help?
