I've applied for tickets, just waiting for a message to say if I've been succesful as they seem to do it a different way to the others.
The IT Crowd Page 7
How do you apply?! I'd love to go see this.
I signed up with Pinewood Studios earlier today, but I don't know if the 3rd series is being filmed there.
David Chapman, I could kiss you!
Thanks.
Man that's great. I hope to attend a taping when I plan my trip to England. Thanks David.
I hadn't even considered going to any of this year's shows, but perhaps something to consider. A bit more awkward to get to now, mind. *strokes chin*

Different how? E-tickets as opposed to printed?

The other site allows you to apply and they let you print them off. First come first served as they usually allocate a few more.
On this one you say you're interested and then they say they'll email you back if there are any tickets available.
AHhh, right. Yes.
I think you'll find that Avalon (tvrecordings.com) are the different ones. EVERY other ticketing agency does it in the same way as SRO. Only Avalon do it that way.
Talking of the DVD extras, I really like the 'Behind The IT Crowd' feature - perhaps one of the funniest things Adam Buxton has done since 2000. Chris O'Dowd steals the show, though, when he claims he's raped a pig. I laughed out loud and hard at that.
EDIT:
After a week of intense viewing, I have now decided that The IT Crowd is now in my top 3 sitcoms of the 00's along with The Office and Peep Show. I came to this conclusion after the amount of roaring laughs I committed.
It features such excellent writing from Linehan. The predicaments they get themselves into are second to none.
My favourite line from the whole show is when Denholm describes the IT team as "a dynamic go-getter, a genius and a man from Ireland ". I cannot stop laughing at it. Favourite episode is probably the 'Gay Musical' one - the moment where Jen turns round to find Moss working behind the bar is genius.
Roll on series 3, which I believe starts filming tonight!

It is great, possibly my favourite current Brit-sit-com; but then it is by Linehen, so it was always going to be great. 'I'm disabled. . . '

Definitely! That's the episode I show people to get them hooked.
Curt, don't go anywhere for the next few minutes.
God damnit, I wish people wouldn't edit their posts like that. Winterlight, if Matthew hadn't quoted it, many of us wouldn't have seen your words of wisdom.
What should I have done, Poindexter?
Just posted again.
