Newsrevue

Anyone care to share their experiences with them? Do you get paid? I don't want to appear as though I'm only doing this for the money, but, I need money, lol!

They are now running a second sketch of mine and a couple of tens in my pocket would be nice, so I can buy equipment to make my own productions of course. ;)

There's also The Treason Show but have no idea if they are performing my stuff or not?

Thanks.

Well I'm still waiting but I think it was Adam said they take ages.

Well there's no more of my stuff there but they say it's the last week.

Are they closing down?

I see theyy've started a new run. So I'll keep sending them my old rubbish. Unless I was just lucky that once.

Still waiting to get paid though.

The Treason show will let you know, Lee. They did for me.

Newsrevue change cast every six weeks, that's why they talk about a new run. They do pay, no idea how they work out what you get, but it's not much. Payment is erratic. I got a cheque for £34 a few weeks ago, which related to about 3 or 4 sketches I think, from earlier this year. Once you get something in, you should get on the list of writers who get a running order every week.

Treason Show pay very quickly. They pay roughly £20 a sketch and £30 for a song, fiver for a gag, within a few days of the Brighton show. They'll tell you if you've got anything in. Their website gives more details about what they're after. You'll get a running order after the show.
