Here's our first sketch in a while involving an old explorer-type regaling us with tales of his time on Tahiti...
Walter....on Tahiti.
Shades of Sellers as Strangelove. I found it a bit hard to understand some parts. Any reference to "explorers" going to Tahiti to replenish supplies, and trade iron nails and venereal disease for sex?
No we kept it very light and didn't include Cook or scurvy or iron for sex. Just a volcano that spits balls of lava on the summer solstice.
That is very good stuff, and I mean very good!
Very good reminded me of Ripping Yarns in the format and very original in a dialogue, liked it a lot .
Thanks for the comments lads. I love ripping yarns so it may well have been an influence without me realising.
Really enjoyed that, love the oddness of it all a lot a lot.
