I see his point but as it's mainly comedy fans and quiz fans who do the quizzes I'd be surprised if they were put off doing them, rather than seeing it as a way to learn more about the subject, as I do. And there's quite a few in the pipeline so Mark certainly isn't anti them.

I said "not keen", not anti!

He's just not keen on seeing too many of them, especially if they become too frequent

And I'm all for them

Then who better to do it than you MM?

How about a quiz on Last Of The Summer Wine, I would offer to do the questions as I'm a huge summer wine fan or Are You Being Served, Keeping Up Apperances, Only Fools And Horses etc.

Email Mark or Aaron to see if they'll OK it and what's involved in the compiling, JJ. As a quizzer I'd be happy to do any of those, myself.

Thank you Kipper for the support, I'll think about some possible questions today.

You'll need to PM Mark (not Aaron) IF you can get hold of him - I have been waiting weeks now to get the nod for my Peter Sellers quiz. Best of luck! 😉

AND it is no good just setting questions from your knowledge only - you will need one good strong link to prove the answers to your questions

Thank you Herc for the support. How many questions must there be for the quiz?

15, with the last 5 being harder ones, but don't worry too much about that, as Mark will move them about if he thinks they qualify as stinkers and go in the last 5.

With the "proof", by the way, just to clarify - it's no good setting a question, say "What colour cardigan was Patricia Routledge wearing in the final episode of Keeping Up Appearances", without substantial proof of that by providing a link where that fact is mentioned, or a YouTube clip where she is seen wearing same.

Quiz 245: I got 8/10 and 2/5, (a big improvement on last week when I got bugger all!)

Correct answers: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11, 13.

Good range of questions. Some I knew, some were educated guesses, a few were sheer flukes.

Rubbish

5/10 and 1/5

Good morning everybody!

I scored 4 out of 10 today, hardly a suprise as most programmes in questions such as Taskmaster, QI, Rosie Jones and Triangle of Sadness I had never heard of.

I was very suprised the wonderful Peter Sellers [ a real comedy icon] got a mention in this quiz, when the Peter Sellers quiz my mate Herc suggested was rejected by this very site.

I correctly answered Q2,Q7,Q8,Q9, to no suprise I'm a fan of the related people/programmes in those questions

5/10 this week. Numbers 5, 6 (semi-educated guess), 7, 8 & 9.

Very pleased with my 7/10 and 4/5 - got 1-2, 5-8, 10-13 and 15 correct.

That's not totally sunk yet - if I don't hear from Mark by the end of this week, I'll contact him again.

Keep yer pecker up! 😎

Will do Herc, best of luck this week for the Peter Sellers quiz.
